A Simple, Sweet About Us
The Official Anime group for George Mason University and our surrounding neighbors in Fairfax, VA.
Our club was started in 2003 by Bruce Vu, and is currently ran by Genevieve McKenna.
The club brings people together that share even the slightest interest in anime. Whether you collect DVDs or your significant other is a fan and you are trying to get into anime, this is the place for you. Want to meet other anime fans? We'll be holding events throughout the semester to create a great socialization atmosphere. Bake sale fundraisers, gaming contests, cosplay contests, Youtube finds, and of course anime. All at the GMU Anime Club.
We meet primarily in the TV Lounge in Hanover Hall in University Commons, and occasionally the 3rd floor of the Johnson Center, right in the middle of campus. Meetings start (not very) promptly at 5:00 PM, and end at (a little after) 10:00 PM. Be there, or fail.
We watch anime according to themes (as of late) and every Friday gives us a new theme. Check our schedule for more information on what you can bring or enjoy every Friday of the Academic calendar at George Mason.
For More Information please fill out the box on our homepage. And please join us for a meeting or two.
*ANY forms of harassment online or offline will NOT be tolerated and will be reported accordingly.*
