Welcome to a new Year of Anime!!!
As you know, we are going to Katsucon this February, and the hotel will be provided by GMU if all works out the way I like it.
That said,
*** ON OCTOBER 22nd,
The first 10 PEOPLE who give me money
STARTING AT THE END OF BREAKTIME (which is 9pm)
WILL GET A SPOT IN THE ROOMS
(2 rooms maximum allowed on paper 5 people).
Terms/Conditions
* Those wanting these precious spots MUST HAVE: CASH, Pre-Reg form, and an ID with your name on it.
* These rooms are booze free, drug free, sex free.
* Girls get priority on beds.
* There will be no same sex sharing of beds, unless you are with your significant other. No creepers at con.
* By obtaining this spot, you will receive a free room HOWEVER not without a little work on your parts. Mason requires a few forms, and approval for us to travel, please be available via email or facebook in order to get these pertinent documents in on time. IF YOU DON'T GET THE FORM IN ON TIME, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SPOT AND TOO BAD.
* The first 5 people AFTER the lucky 10 will be on call filling out all forms for Mason in case somebody in the 10 flake out.
*THE ROOM ISN'T COMPLETELY FREE, a $20 deposit from each of those 10 people are required, but you will receive it back on Sunday. still better 140 a night.
*If you brought your pre-reg and money to the meeting, but were late or not a part of those 10, please feel free to continue to register with us. There may be a chance that you may stay in the room.
TO GUARANTEE WE GET THE ROOMS WE WILL NEED TO FUNDRAISE JUST IN CASE MASON FLAKES...
Some examples, car washes, fundraisers (like the ice cream social?), sponsorships, etc.

The weather's looking ominous. It's sunny, bright not a cloud in the sky, reasonable weather...
So expect a blizzard.
That said, if club is cancelled due to this upcoming blizzard-y shadows, I have one or two things to say.
1!
If this week is cancelled, we will just move on with our themes, which can incorporate the one we miss or not (which is sad cause I like school themed animes ;_;) . That said, next week is Katsucon, and a lot of club will be attending, including 3 of the 4 officers.
It is FAN SERVICE NIGHT 2, which means not fan service (though it can be that) but a watch what you want night. Bring a laptop, and bring your vga/svideo cables/speaker cable, and your set. IF by any chance there are no members at club, and we have solo artists in Hanover with no cables yada yada yada (BELIEVE ME it's happened before), discretion to say club is cancelled is up to you who come to club. Directions on how to run club, if interested, are on the website.

Katsucon folks! If cancelled, I need your money. I'm going to try to set up a window of time to sit in the JC all next week. I need 20$ bucks from all of you and a signature on the form. AND I will type up what I was going to say and give it with the form.
I hope club isn't cancelled, but I understand that nature is a frigid bitch.
November 13th
Despite the most recent outburst of sick club is going strong. I hope that as the semester winds down you'll join us for our last few meetings and Christmas is sure to have a surprise or two *wink*
Remember to check the facebook page as this page is never really updated. And please join us for the meetings, everyone is always welcome young and old (young being at least 6 and up and old meaning well I dunno if your 100 you won't get the joke but your welcome to try).

PS Convention Lovers:
*****Directions for those at Mason wanting to go to Anime USA*****
Take any CUE bus (fastest being Gold I) or Mason to Metro shuttle to Vienna Metro, get on metro Orange Line.
Switch to the Blue or Yellow line at Rosslyn (downstairs) heading toward Franconia and get off at the Crystal City Station (3rd stop after Arlington Cemetery).
Depending on the time of day Prices are 4.25, reduced 2.35.
Take the escalators from the station up to the street.
Once you are at the top of the escalators, turn to the left toward the brown Metro sign.
The Hyatt shuttles stop at the corner (look for the WhiteRed Shuttle sign) every 20 minutes.
Remember Fanservice night is for those w/o the money to get there, so please attend meeting and you won't ever have to mope about the convention.
